RECEIVE COMMUNION

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

I Corinthians 10:16 NKJV

When we receive communion, we partake in His death . The Bible says "For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. (I Corinthians 11:26 NKJV) Why are we proclaiming His death?

II Corinthians 5:21 NKJV says "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." So we are proclaiming a HOLY EXCHANGE. , He took our sin and sinful life and nailed them on the cross and we received His righteous and sinless life, so our new life is based on His merits not on our own merit!

The sweetest part is that, since we are united with Him in His death, we are also united with Him in His resurrection. We are dead to sin and distress., be it financial ,marital ,sickness etc, but alive to God in Christ. So, by His death ,we have conquered all our distress. It doesn't matter anymore which distress comes at us, they won't harm us for He has deprived them of the power to harm us! Glory!

KEEP PROCLAIMING HIS VICTORY THROUGH COMMUNION UNTIL HE COMES AGAIN!

A BLESSED FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI!
