I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.
John 17:15-16 MEV
In today's wounded world, one might think God has forsaken us , or dash the hope of making it to heaven. We have to know that, we were neither chosen nor saved by ourselves, God did. The same way, He only can preserve those He saved till the coming of Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:8 BSB says "He will sustain you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ."
I like how the classic Amplified version (AMPC) translates it "And He will establish you to the end [keep you steadfast, give you strength, and guarantee your vindication; He will be your warrant against all accusation or indictment so that you will be] guiltless and irreproachable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)."
How does God preserve us till that day?
He does it through our Lord Jesus. The Bible says "For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love"
(Ephesians 1:4 BSB) Our only work is to abide in Christ and He will keep us blameless and holy till his second coming.
It is all about God's mercy, not our merit, so let us not try to keep ourselves by our merit, rather trust his mercy. That is why the Bible says "Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you unblemished in His glorious presence, with great joy (Jude 1:24 BSB)
MAY THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH US ALWAYS
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO ABIDE IN HIM SO AS TO BE BLAMELESS AND HOLY TILL THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
