From the rising of the sun to its going down, the Lord’s name is to be praised.
Psalms 113:3 MEV
What sacrifices are acceptable and righteous? In the past, the Israelites offered to God different sacrifices (See Leviticus 7) However, Christ has offered himself once and for all, so through him we can offer to God righteous sacrifices. Hebrews 13:15 AMPC says "Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.
We should also consider making an evening sacrifice by the lifting of our hands for it is also a warfare. Elijah's victory over the prophets of baals was at 3pm evening sacrifice, Peter's first miracle with John at the temple was at evening sacrifice. No wonder the Bible says "Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger or dissension.(1 Timothy 2:8 BSB)
Remember Moses victory over the Amalekites was by lifting of hands. Even our Lord Jesus was hanging on the cross till the time for evening sacrifice before giving up the ghost. (Mark 15:33-34,37 NLT) While his hands were hanging up on the cross, He disarmed the powers and authorities, and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. (Colossians 2:15)
BLESSED ARE YOU GOD THE LOVING FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS, FROM THE RISING OF THE SUN TO IT'S SETTING, YOUR NAME SHALL BE PRAISED FROM AGE TO AGE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
