APPROACH GOD WITH JOYFUL CONFIDENCE

.. Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I know that You always hear Me. But because of the people standing around, I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”

Imagine your 2 year old baby reminding you to do your responsibility in the family. This could be related to how we remind God of his duty as our Lord and God. Do you think God can be reminded to provide for and to preserve us till the coming of Christ?

Isaiah 49:15 MEV says "Can a woman forget her nursing child, and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget." The Lord encouraged us to pray because He knows that our heavenly Father cannot turn us down. Why? Because no one can remind him to be faithful. He remains faithful even when we are faithless ( 2 Timothy 2:13)

So let us always approach him with joyful confidence knowing that He cares. Isaiah 65:24 BSB says "Even before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear." Who reminds God to keep the sun shining or to cause rain to fall? The Bible says "You know when I sit and when I rise; You understand my thoughts from afar. Even before a word is on my tongue, You know all about it, O Lord" (Psalms 139:2‭, ‬4 BSB)
