ARE YOU ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL!?

So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. - Acts 5:41 NKJV



How much shame is too much for us to endure for His name sake? If He is not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters, why can't we endure shame for His name sake. If He endured shame so as to be made sin for our sake, why can't we endure the shame for His name?


St. Paul said "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. (Romans 1:16 NKJV)


It is very important to know that " all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.(II Timothy 3:12 NKJV) Persecution, apart from giving us a place in heaven, fosters the growth of the church. (Acts 8:4)


WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND FIRM IN THE LORD AND NOT BE ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
