ARE YOU BUILDING ON THE ROCK OR SAND

OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:

Matthew 7:24‭, ‬26 NKJV

Christ is the Rock and the sand represents every other thing like our human strength, job, houses, cars ,etc.

The Bible says “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will never be shaken." (Isaiah 28:16 )Today's world is filled with so many storms, if we build our foundation on Christ through listening and doing His words, then we will be unshakable during stormy days.

For instance, if any part of our lives is experiencing storms such as finances, marriages, health and wellbeing etc. Instead of trusting in our human strength or money to solve it, we stand strong on the word. The Bible says "Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness."(Lamentations 3:22‭-‬23 )

So, we stand strong in His mercies irrespective of our understanding and earthly circumstances and the storm will not consume us. Mary gave us this tip in John 2:5 "Do whatever He tells you to do " . This is irrespective of our human understanding.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BUILD ON CHRIST OUR SOLID ROCK TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
