ARISE AND SHINE

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

Isaiah 60:1 NKJV

We need to calmly ponder on this verse , over and over again. In the Bible, Jesus saw a man by the pool of Bethesda who had an infirmity for thirty-eight years, knowing that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”(John 5:5‭-‬8)

What are those circumstances in our lives that are holding us down from living the fullness of life God destined for us? Is it sin, marital, financial, sickness, ancestral curses? The bible is telling us that our light has come, so, we should just simply pick up our bed and walk"! That is; arise and shine.

Beloved, we are cities on the mountain top, so we are not hidden, instead we shine like the sun. Proverbs 4:18 says "The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day." Always remember, the righteousness we need to arise and shine like the morning sun, is not from us, but from Christ, our light.

ARISE AND SHINE!
