Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
Isaiah 60:1 NKJV
Our verse says " the glory of God is risen upon you" So we radiate this glory to the world and nothing shall overcome it. The Bible says "In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth. (Psalms 19:4-6 )
We are not our own light, Jesus is our Light, John 1:4 says "In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind." That is why Psalm 36:9 says "You are the source of all life, and because of your light we see the light."
The Lord said "All I have is yours, and all you have is mine; and my glory is shown through them.(John 17:10) That means that God's omnipotence is shown through us. Think calmly what that means! It is not by merit but by God's extravagant kindness to us.
If the Sun can shine everyday and nothing is deprived of its warmth, how about children of Light? Remember "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:5)
MAY THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH US ALWAYS
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO ARISE AND SHINE LIKE THE SUN, RADIATING THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
