ASK TRUST AND WAIT ON THE LORD

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your happiness may be complete.

When that day comes, you will ask him in my name; and I do not say that I will ask him on your behalf, for the Father himself loves you. He loves you because you love me and have believed that I came from God.

The only reason we do not believe our opening text is because of our senses, impatience, we want immediate response. If we go to an ATM or a bank to withdraw money, the money does not jump out right away because we are there, we still have to wait for the normal process. There is also a normal process in the spiritual, which is abnormal for us because of our senses.

The Lord said “When that day comes, you will not ask me for anything. I am telling you the truth: the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name.

(John 16:23 GNT) Ponder this ". I am telling you the truth: the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name." Why can't we believe this truth? Know that God is not answering us by our many words of prayer, points and fasting, but only because of what Jesus did.

That is why we ask in Jesus' name, for when we ask anything in Jesus name, it is Jesus asking in our stead and we cannot be rejected. This is the law of the spirit and the truth, for the Spirit of Jesus in us is the one that carries out our requests "If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.
