BE BOLD WE ARE NOT SLAVES BUT CHILDREN OF GOD

So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”

‭Romans 8:15 NLT‬

We are God's children, and not slaves, hence we did not receive the spirit of fear, worries and anxieties, for God doesn't have such. We should not be worried when worries or anxieties attack us, for our worries are because we Can't do anything by ourselves. We cannot do anything by ourselves because we are not made that way, for both our will and to do anything is from God. ‭

II Corinthians 3:5 NKJV‬ says, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.” So we should not imagine God's sufficiency to be weak or insufficient that we should live a worrisome life!. Acts 17:29 GNT says, “‬Since we are God's children, we should not suppose that his nature is anything like an image of gold or silver or stone, shaped by human art and skill.”

Though we are sent as sheep, we are not sheep for God is not sheep. Sheep gives birth to sheep, Spirit gives birth to Spirit.

That is why those who are in Christ cannot say we are sick or poor for Christ

is the express image of the Father, who is not poor or sick. Ephesians 4:24 NIV‬ tells us to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
