BE CALM AND LEARN THAT HE IS GOD

Our God says, “Calm down, and learn that I am God! All nations on earth will honor me.” - Psalms 46:10 CEV

OUR joyful duty as children of God is to

Learn God, have a personal relationship based on good knowledge of who He is and what He can do. No wonder the Lord said, " This is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3 NIV)

However, we cannot know Him without faith especially during challenges. That is why our opening verse says "Calm down, and learn that I am God!." Consider challenges as opportunities to learn about God, to understand that He is God, that He made us and we are his people. He takes care of us, like a shepherd with his sheep.[ Psalms 100:3 ]

Did you know that we are the living memorials of God's goodness, we are proofs that God is good and there is no evil in Him? [Psalm 92:15] Any evil that happens to us, makes the work of the cross unfinished and looks bad on Him. At the cross, He took away every wrong in our lives in this age and ages to come, that we might live for what is right in this age and ages to come.

If this is true and His work is flawless, we have to be calm in all circumstances and acknowledge Him as our Lord and God.

For He will cause all things whether good or bad to work together for our good, for we live for His purpose, that is we display His goodness, we are living memorials that God is good and there is no evil in Him.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE CALM AND LEARN THAT HE IS GOD IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES ESPECIALLY IN TRIALS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
