BE CHRIST CONFIDENT AND NOT IN SELF

Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.

John 9:41 NIV

Grace delivers us from self confidence into total reliance on God: for by grace, we are dead to sin and alive to God in Christ. The dead do not sin, and Christ is our life, He lives His life through us, so no one can accuse Christ of sin. So our guilt does not come from sin but when we live in consciousness of sin because we claim we are alive to sin. "If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains."

The Bible says " …He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit." [Romans 8:3‭-‬4 NKJV] So, knowing we are dead to sin, we live our lives through Christ and Christ lives His life through us, this way we are blameless, faultless and guiltless.

The reason we get depressed, perplexed and unhappy is self confidence, we believe and define our confidence and contentment in self, accepting the dictates of the flesh, its sinful thoughts, allowing the flesh to define us, because we claim to be alive to the sin.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE CONFIDENT IN WHAT GOD HAS DONE FOR US IN CHRIST JESUS AND NOT SELF CONFIDENT IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
