BE CHRIST READY

...‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’ - Matthew 3:3 NIV




This season of advent is an opportunity for us to prepare our hearts and minds for the second coming of our Lord Jesus as well the celebration of His birth on Christmas. We are all bought by Jesus, our hearts and minds belong to him. It is our duty to guard it diligently in readiness for his coming. As john the Baptist said in John 3:29, the bride belongs to the bridegroom.


Christ is the bridegroom, we, the church is His bride. Remember the parable of the ten virgins ( see Matthew 25:1-13) Jesus is coming for his church, we do not know the day or hour. We have to be ready to receive him. The way to be prepared at all times is to abide in him, live in unbroken fellowship with him.


MAY THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH US ALWAYS.



WE PRAY FOR GRACE TO ABIDE IN HIM AND BE CHRIST READY AT ALL TIMES TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
