BE CHRIST READY III

The Lord said "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.

(John 10:10 BSB) Fullness of life is not about living in big mansions, fat bank accounts or what you eat or drink. It is living God kind of life on earth, not human kind of life. It is living in God kind of peace, joy and righteousness amidst tribulations. "My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives.".(John 14:27 BSB)

Our society today is caroused with wrong ideologies that we focus on what we see, instead of faith in God. That is why today many are not happy, hence not looking forward to the coming of Christ. That is why He said in our opening verse " Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts become burdened by excessiveness and drunkenness and anxieties of life, and that Day comes on you unexpectedly."

Always remember the kind of kingdom Jesus brought us into "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.(Romans 14:17 BSB)
