The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

John 1:29 MEV

When the Jewish Authorities brought the woman caught in adultery to Jesus. In John 8:7 MEV, the Lord said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” But none could. Verses10-11 says, “When Jesus had stood up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.”

Notice that none could condemn her, for none were without sin. Yet the only One who truly was without sin, the spotless Lamb of God, chose not to condemn her.

Romans 8:33 MEV says, “Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.” If God Himself has justified, no accusation can stand, and no condemnation can prevail.

The enemy himself is not without sin and therefore has no authority to condemn us. Moreover, we are no longer under his jurisdiction. Colossians 1:13 MEV says, “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of His dear Son.”

When we sin, it is not against the enemy, but against God. As David acknowledged in Psalm 51:4 MEV, “Against You, You only, have I sinned.”

If the very One who has authority over us, the only One who has the right to condemn, chooses not to condemn us but instead takes away our sins and grants us right standing, then who can stand against us? “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 MEV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE CONSCIOUS OF GOD'S MERCY AND QUIT STRUGGLING WITH SIN IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
