Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” - Hebrews 13:5 NKJV

The Lord wants us to be content with not only what we physically have, that is the things we can see, but also the things we cannot see. For the things we can see are obtained from the things we do not see and are temporal, while the things we cannot see lasts forever. That is why the Lord said " for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”(Luke 12:15 NKJV)

So we cannot obtain our contentment from what we can see. Remember, we are heirs of God, and everything that pertains to life and godliness has been made available to us in Christ Jesus, "the spiritual blessings in the heavenlies.

Beloved, we are raised to a new life with Christ, the Bible wants us to set our minds on things we have above, not just those of this world. The Bible tells us “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:19‭-‬21 NKJV

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE CONTENT WITH WHAT WE HAVE TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
