Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” - Hebrews 13:5 NKJV
In the 14th chapter of Acts of apostles, Paul was stoned after he healed a man who was crippled from birth. Instead of him to go on lamenting over it, the Bible says he travelled around "strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22 NKJV)
Think calmly about this statement " We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God" So we have to content also with our hardships, our narrow gates , troubles and tribulations. "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
(II Corinthians 4:17 NKJV)
The Bible also said that " when they had come and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles. (Acts 14:27 NKJV) They weren't discouraging the disciples with their afflictions, rather they were empowering, strengthening them with all the good deeds of God.
No wonder the psalmist said "This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life.
(Psalms 119:50 NKJV) Think of what it means that we are born of the imperishable, indestructible Word of God. No worries!
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE CONTENT SO AS TO EMPOWER AND STRENGTHEN ONE ANOTHER TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
