BE GRACE CONSCIOUS

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

Isaiah 43:2 NLT

Do you remember the sign the Lord gave us when He first came down to save the Israelites? The Bush that was engulfed in flames but never burnt. That is who we are! Moses called the beauty of it amazing! “This is amazing,” Moses said to himself. “Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.”(Exodus 3:3 NLT)

But why are many consumed by flames and rivers of tribulations even though our opening verse says otherwise? It is because of ignorance. "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.

(Hosea 4:6 NIV) So we are not destroyed because of sin, but because of lack of knowledge of God.

Beloved, We were crucified with Christ, sin has lost it's power to afflict us.

( Romans 6:6) We are living under grace, grace sustains us for through grace we are dead to sin and all it's distress and alive to God in Christ, hence cannot be consumed by fires and rivers of distress. We receive grace abundantly daily through the knowledge of our Lord Jesus (2 Peter 1:3)

We cannot live in sin and grace, for where sin increases, grace abounds sustaining us with eternal life. Many lack this knowledge and are still conscious of sin instead of grace.
