James 1:18 tells us that we are born of the Word of truth. The truth sets us apart from the customs of the world. The world is devoid of the truth, for their ruler has no truth in Him.

That is why the Lord said to the people " Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.(John 8:43‭-‬44 NIV)

The weapon that sets us free from the world of darkness is the truth ( John 8:32) That is why our Lord Jesus prayed Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.(John 17:17 NIV) The Spirit of truth is in us now, so let us yield to Him, by living in awareness of Him in all things and meditating on the word daily, so He can reveal the true things about God, Jesus and us! Glory! Yes!
