not lord over those in your charge, but be examples to the flock.
1 Peter 5:3 MEV
St. Paul said, “And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
(Acts of the Apostles 20:35 NLT)
Be the one that shows kindness to others, rather than one that always seeks kindness from others.
Iron rusts because it reacts to air, water just to be stable. Hence it is of limited use. While Gold does not rust, it is stable and of great use. If you want to increase in the spirit, and be of good use in the kingdom of God, do not be reactive like the Iron. Instead, be like Gold, responding from our wholesomeness, inner peace we have in Christ Jesus! Practice humility, learn how to forgive, do not wait for someone to beg you for forgiveness, be the one to make peace. Be a servant and not lord over people just to feel complete like iron does.
The Bible says, “ Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands and that He came from God and was going to God,... took a towel and wrapped Himself…poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel with which He was wrapped.” ( See John 13) He even washed Judas' feet as well.
This is why the Bible tells us to have this mind of Christ. Philippians 2:5-7MEV says, “Let this mind be in you all, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped. But He emptied Himself, taking upon Himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.”
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE KIND TO OTHERS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
