BE MINDFUL OF GOD'S GLORY

Wherever they went, they brought disgrace on my holy name…

Many children of God, though in union with Jesus, still bring disgrace to the Holy name of God by the way they live. I remember in my college days, my friend and I went to their village, and I put on their great masquerade without performing their necessary ritual needed for protection from harm and disgrace. The elders found out and had to order the masquerade back.

Imagine this: these elders knew how to preserve the glory of their masquerade by performing rituals, yet many children of God are not conscious of the glorious and Holy name they live in . Beloved, we have been cleansed, washed and set apart from anything that can defile us - sin and distress, and consecrated, dedicated to Elohim!, God's own living Temple.This means that we don't live, move and talk carelessly.

This also means we don't live the house daily without preparing ourselves spiritually so as to withstand the forces that will try to defile us. How? Our victory is by faith, so we dress ourselves with words of faith daily before leaving the house, aligning our thoughts with His thoughts. Assuring ourselves that we have been saved from anything that defiles us- sin and distress of this world! (Ezekiel 36:29) WE are God's saved, holy and blameless people in Christ ! In psalm 16, He will not allow us to be defiled!

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE MINDFUL OF GOD'S GLORY AND LIVE IN DAILY CONSCIOUSNESS THAT WE ARE SAVED FROM ALL THAT DEFILES US IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
