BE MINDFUL OF HIS WORDS

… Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me - Psalms 23:4 NKJV

Let us be MINDFUL of the word of God, for that is the tool Jesus, our good shepherd, uses to guide us in this evil world. Psalms 91:4 NKJV says, "His truth shall be your shield and buckler." The word of God is truth. Our joyful duty is to listen to our shepherd and live. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."

Ecclesiastes 12:11 GNT says "The sayings of the wise are like the sharp sticks that shepherds use to guide sheep, and collected proverbs are as lasting as firmly driven nails. They have been given by God, the one Shepherd of us all." In this dark world, our one and only Shepherd comforts us with His words everyday, are we listening or do we live on our own? Psalms 119:50 TPT says,

"In all of my affliction I find great comfort in your promises, for they have kept me alive!"

His word is not faraway from us, instead He lives in us, unveiled. We are in oneness with Him, we have to listen to Him. The Bible says "My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen to my words. Never let them get away from you. Remember them and keep them in your heart. They will give life and health to anyone who understands them. (Proverbs 4:20‭-‬22 GNT)
