BELIEVE IN JESUS

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

John 6:28‭-‬29 NIV

No one can believe in Jesus without the Holy Spirit, and the word of God fills our heart with the Holy Spirit. So to believe in Jesus means to continually saturate our hearts with the word of God, "for with the heart, one believes". The enemy will always want us to believe that we are not good enough to be who God said we are, that we are not God's children, His redeemed and saved ones. Our work is to believe in Jesus, with our heart and don't trust our human understanding, walk by faith, and not by sight.

We are raised to a new life with Christ, not different new lives, but the same life. We set our minds and hearts on Him, not on ourselves, for we are dead, Believe that as He is, so are we. Christ does not suffer sickness, failures, etc, so are we. The Bible says that "Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires". (Galatians 5:24) So we don't accept things of the flesh, for we are not in the flesh but we walk in things of the Spirit as we are in the spirit.

That is why the Bible says that the just shall live by faith. When everything seems contrary to our belief, we continue to walk by faith in God's word.
