CHRIST, OUR HOME SWEET HOME

Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his;. - Psalms 100:3 NIV

You know how you long to get back home and relax from a long stressful day at work. The same way, in all circumstances, relax, know the home we live in, the Lord, know that the Lord is God, He made us, and we are his.

Let us live in this consciousness!

The Lord explained it better in John 16:33, " I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” So, those troubles we face in this world are of this world and don't define us,rather we are defined by the peace we have in Christ.

This should fill our hearts with bubbling joy for no matter the noise and troubles in this world, we have a home, a place of rest, Christ. A place where we are not condemned, stressed, or sick, where we reign as kings and never lack anything, glory! No wonder David said "One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life". (Psalms 27:4 )

Beloved, just as we always look forward to home sweet home after a long stressful day, the same way, amidst troubles of this world, Colossians 3:1‭-‬2 tells us to set our hearts and minds on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God, not on earthly things, for we are dead to this world and it's troubles.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO ENJOY THE PEACE IN CHRIST AMIDST TRIBULATIONS IN THIS WORLD TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
