CHRIST, THE BEAUTY OF OUR STRENGTH

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.- Psalms 73:26 BSB

The Lord prayed "Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

(John 17:24 NASB1995) Today, we are where He is today, a place of glory.

Beloved, God is a righteous God, though we are sent to this world for a purpose, He still treats us as those who have "joint sitting" with Jesus at His right hand, a place of glory. So as a just God, He accords us daily with those justice, righteousness, authority, strength and power He bestowed on us as joint sitters with Christ. That is why 2 Peter 1:4 calls us partakers of His divine nature.

So in Christ, it doesn't matter if our health, finances,or marriages fail, for Christ is the strength of our health, finances, marriage etc. That means we cannot fail. That is why St. Paul says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13 NKJV) That is, His strength is our strength.

That's why David said "The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.(Psalms 16:6 NKJV) So let's never be discouraged by what we see, rather focus on who is the strength of our life. Psalm 89:17 calls him the glory, the beauty and the fragrance of our strength.

BLESSED ARE YOU GOD THE LOVING FATHER OF OUR BELOVED JESUS CHRIST FOR CHRIST IS THE BEAUTY OF OUR STRENGTH, PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED ARE YOU FROM AGE TO AGE.
