DISCOVER THE TRUTH AND LIVE FREELY

Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!
Matthew 26:41 NLT
Beloved, as the days are becoming increasingly challenging, let us stand firm on the truth of God’s Word so that we can enjoy the freedom of the children of God.
Ecclesiastes 10:7 says, “I have even seen slaves riding horseback like princes—and princes walking like slaves!” What a striking picture! Many children of God are living beneath their God-given privileges, not because God has withheld His promises, but because they lack the knowledge of the truth that sets them free.
Psalm 82:5–6 NIV says, “They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. ‘I said, “You are ‘gods’; you are all sons of the Most High.”’This is why the Lord Jesus said in our theme verse, “Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”
Notice that Jesus did not say temptation would never come. Rather, He instructed His disciples to watch and pray so they would not yield to it. Freedom does not mean the absence of temptation; it means we are free not to yield to it. How? “For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin” (Romans 6:6 NIV)
The world often defines freedom as the absence of trials, temptations, and difficulties. Hence they may measure their freedom by what they see, favorable circumstances. So, they live as slaves whenever circumstances change. In Christ, however, we discover a greater freedom: the freedom to stand on God’s truth even when our circumstances seem to contradict His promises.
This is why the Lord said to the Jews who already believed, “... If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. ” (John 8:31-32, 35-36 NIV)
WE ARE FREE INDEED, LIVE BY THE TRUTH
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE BY THE TRUTH IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
