DO NOT BREAK THE CHAIN OF COMMAND

For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.

John 3:34 NKJV

Do not break the chain of command by speaking your own words. Your feelings and earthly circumstances do not reflect God’s will; therefore, do not speak according to them. Rather, keep the chain of command alive by speaking God’s Word. “Whatever He says to you, do it” (John 2:5). Let's see every trial as an opportunity to speak God's words and not our own.

While on earth, our Lord Jesus never spoke His own words: “For I have not spoken on My own authority…” (John 12:49) Likewise, the Holy Spirit, who was sent by God, does not speak on His own authority. As Jesus declared in John 16:13 NKJV: “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak.”

In the same way, we are called to speak in agreement with God’s promises concerning our health, well-being, finances, marriages, and every area of life, regardless of earthly circumstances. Adam broke the chain of command by failing to stand on God’s Word. Hence, condemnation came upon all mankind. Let us not make the same mistake.

Beloved, we have received the Spirit of God without measure and therefore we are called to speak God’s Word without measure. Let us remain conscious of this truth. And let us not be troubled by our weaknesses, for “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength” (Psalms 8:2).
