DO NOT MAGNIFY MONEY OVER GOD WHO DELIGHTS IN YOUR PROSPERITY
No one can serve two masters… You cannot serve both God and money.
Matthew 6:24 NIV
Psalm 35:27 AMPC says, “Let those who favor my righteous cause… shout for joy and be glad, and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
Beloved, rejoice! Our Heavenly Father is not against our prosperity—He delights in it!
He gives us the ability to produce wealth as part of His covenant faithfulness:
“Remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant…”
(Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV)
And this is why we are planted in Christ, so our source will be from God and not our own strength, wisdom, connections, or circumstances. Psalm 92:13–15 ERV says,“They are planted in the house of the Lord… They will continue producing fruit… They are there to show everyone that the Lord is good.”
So, our prosperity is not a show of our performance but of God's faithfulness.
Beloved, do not hurry and worry over wealth. Trust the God who delights in your prosperity. Wealth becomes dangerous when worry makes it our master. But when we trust God as our Source, money remains a servant—not a master.
Let us not magnify money over God. Money does not delight in our prosperity, it wants to enslave us. Rather, Let the Lord be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His children!
