DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU

And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say.”

In John 2:5, "His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”

This is the Golden key to living in union with Jesus "Do whatever he tells you.” Beloved, we are children of obedience, we came from the obedience of Christ, our second and last Adam. We live by obedience.

The Lord told the Israelites "Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.(Exodus 19:5 NKJV)

When the apostle asked Jesus “Lord, why are you going to reveal yourself only to us and not to the world at large?” Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.

(John 14:22‭-‬23 NLT)

During the last supper, our Lord Jesus gave us the command regarding the Holy Communion. "Do this in remembrance of me" Why this command? Because "anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. (John 6:56 NLT)

This is one of the reasons why we, Catholics also devote to Virgin Mary, the Blessed Mother of our Lord Jesus, for she intercedes for us to obey his commands, "Do whatever he tells you", and "his commands lead to eternal life"
