Blessed are the people who know the joyful shout. They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your presence.
-Psalms 89:15 MEV
The Bible says "Let this be recorded for the generation yet unborn, that a people yet to be created shall praise the Lord. For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary, from heaven did the Lord behold the earth, To hear the sighing and groaning of the prisoner, to loose those who are appointed to death, So that men may declare the name of the Lord in Zion and His praise in Jerusalem"
(Psalm 102:18-21 AMPC)
The Hebrew word translated as declare is "Saphar" meaning to recount, celebrate. So the Lord wants us to celebrate, recount the good things He has done for us in Christ, we don't have to wait till we see a big change in our finances, health, or we get married with children, why? Because we acclaim Him with faith not by sight.
That is why He said "do this in remembrance of me". For some of us Catholics, that is what we do in mass daily. Many places in the Bible He required us to acclaim him. In Psalms 107:8 NKJV, it says "Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!"
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO ACCLAIM HIM FOR ALL HE HAS DONE FOR US IN CHRIST, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
