DO YOU KNOW THE MIGHTY POWER AT WORK IN YOU II
The Lord is with me; he is my helper. I look in triumph on my enemies.
Psalm 118:7 NIV
If you replace a leaking roof with a leak-proof roof, will you still panic every time heavy rain falls? If you truly know the mighty power at work in you through Christ, why should the presence of the enemy make you afraid?
David declared: “In the Lord I take refuge. How then can you say to me: ‘Flee like a bird to your mountain’?” (Psalm 11:1 NIV)
Beloved, your help is not coming from somewhere—it is already found in the Lord who lives with you and works in you.“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
(Psalm 121:1–2 NIV)
Imagine that our help is from God who made heaven and earth and lives in us. Psalm 46:1–2 NIV says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”
No wonder Psalm 124:7–8 NIV says,
“We have escaped like a bird from the fowler’s snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
Know the power at work in you. Stand your ground. Do not flee in fear. Your help is in the name of the Lord!
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND STRONG IN GOD'S STRENGTH IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
