Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God;
John 13:3 NIV
Do you know who you come from—and who you are returning to?
1 John 4:4 (NIV) reminds us: “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
Because we are from God, we are already positioned in victory. Sickness, lack, and every form of distress no longer define us. Christ lives in us, and His life within us is greater than every force in the world.
The same Jesus who went about doing good is now our strength, shield, wisdom, and righteousness—glory to God. With Him, who can outwit us or stand against us? David declared in Psalm 18:29 (NIV), “With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.”
St. Paul affirms this same truth: “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13, NLT)
In Christ, we are not limited by what stands before us, but empowered by the One who lives within us.
The sweetest part is this: we are going back to our heavenly Father —our true home and place of origin. And we are not going there by our own merit, but by the finished work of Christ who lives in us. He is the only Way to the Father (John 14:6).
Sin has already been paid for and no longer has the power to keep us from our eternal home. The only thing that can hinder a person is unbelief.
Beloved, when we truly understand who we come from and where we are going, fear loses its grip, striving loses its voice, and we are strengthened to walk in love, humility, and confidence in Christ.
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAY CONNECTED TO GOD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
