Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord.
Psalms 27:6 NIV
Are we offering God sacrifices with shouts of joy instead of asking him for this or that? All that we need in this age and ages to come has been made available, ready-made for us in Christ (2 Peter 1:3)
Imagine this "Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me;" How?
Colossians 1:13 NKJV says "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love" Because we are in His kingdom, in Christ, we have been placed "far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.(Ephesians 1:21 NKJV)
That is why our opening verse says "
And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;" Are these things true? If they are, why are we not serving him joyfully, why are we still crying for deliverance, breakthroughs etc. Remember, we can only serve him joyfully if we live by faith in His words and not by our present circumstances.Psalms 119:111 BSB says "Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart."
The Lord said this “Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything, therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you. (Deuteronomy 28:47-48 NKJV)
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SERVE GOD JOYFULLY IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
