Woe to you who are complacent in Zion, and to you who feel secure on Mount Samaria, you notable men of the foremost nation, to whom the people of Israel come! - Amos 6:1 NIV
Beloved, the Bible tells us that we are saved for works and not by our works, are we working for the purpose for which we were saved or are we been complacent? The world is getting darker everyday because the light of the world refuse to shine their lights, for if we all shine our lights, darkness will run for cover, why?
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
(John 1:5 NIV)
In Christianity, there is nothing like sitting on the fence, no lukewarms, we are sent to work. That you are living in affluence does not mean that all is well, just look around how is the world God loves so much that He sent His only Son to save, that His only Son sent you to tend and keep untill He comes back?
Amos 6:6 NIV says "You drink wine by the bowlful and use the finest lotions, but you do not grieve over the ruin of Joseph." Remember, Joseph represents us, who once were in bondage but freed and reigns as kings, that is the redeemed.
Beloved, never scroll past any good news without praying against it, God help us, is not enough, for we are praying to ourselves why? We are in commands, we are the lights of the world. Remember what the Spirit said to the Church, "because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Revelation 3:16 NIV)
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE ALERT AND DO THE WORK WE WERE SAVED TO DO FOR NIGHT IS COMING WHEN NO ONE CAN WORK, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
