ENJOY EVERY MOMENT IN CHRIST

“Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge?

Job 38:2 NIV

Jesus didn't purchase a perfect church, rather He perfects his church and everything concerning her. He nourishes and beautifies her. We, the church, are his special treasure.

The Bible says "that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. (Ephesians 5:26‭-‬27 NKJV)

God's plan is for us to become like his Son, holy and without blemish, offering him righteous sacrifices. So we have to be purified. We don't have to choose how or when we are purified, God decides. So during trials, let us not obscure his plans for us with our worries, anxiety and complaints.

Whenever we go through trials, especially in this era we are in, know that God is in control, such trials purifies us (2 Cor 4:16). He is not punishing us why? Because we are under grace and not law. The time for punishment will eventually come to those that refuse to conform to the purification process.

One thing we have to know is this, we are like the "bush engulfed in fire but never burnt" Instead the fire adds to its glory. That crisis we are crying about is not really there why? Because we are living in his grace. We were dead but alive in Christ in God. Remember the prodigal son, how can the Father be celebrating at the same time punishing his son?
