VOL LXV

PRAY FOR YOUR LAND

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

1 Timothy 2:1–2 KJV

Notice that our verse says we can lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty in our land, when we offer prayers for everyone including the people in authority, regardless of whether we personally approve of them.

The purpose is not merely their personal well-being, but that society may have conditions of peace, stability, godliness, and dignity in which believers can faithfully live and serve God.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO OFFER PRAYERS, SUPPLICATIONS, INTERCESSIONS AND THANKSGIVING FOR ALL MEN AND FOR ALL IN AUTHORITY IN OUR LAND AND THOSE OF THE WHOLE WORLD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
