For they have given a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she has.”

Luke 21:4 NLT

Widows of those days are considered poor and very vulnerable, yet this widow in our verse, who is also poor, gave God her livelihood, all that she has. What do you offer God, part of your life or your livelihood? Do you just give Him one hour every Sunday, tithes and offering?

God gave us all that He has, Jesus, the very one through whom He creates all things, without Him, God cannot create nothing. He gave Him to us, even while we were sinners, what have we given to Him?

Revelation 14:4 NLT says "They have kept themselves as pure as virgins, following the Lamb wherever he goes. They have been purchased from among the people on the earth as a special offering to God and to the Lamb." Do you follow the Lamb wherever He goes, offering ourselves as a holy sacrifice to God or do we live for ourselves?

The Lord said "For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will.

(John 6:38 NLT) Think calmly about this: Are we living for our own will or God's?

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO FOLLOW THE LAMB WHEREVER HE GOES TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
