GOD'S DELAY IS NOT DENIAL I
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
Genesis 1:26 NKJV
Beloved, God’s plan before the world began is to make us in His true image, the Godhead so that we can have dominion over all His creations. That is why today we are being conformed to the image of Christ—the perfect expression of God’s nature—so that our lives can reflect our Heavenly Father and fulfill His purposes on the earth, our Heavenly Father's business. Romans 8:29 NKJV says that, “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son,..”
Beloved, we can not subdue the earth or walk in dominion, without being conformed into the very image of Christ, the image of the Godhead. Colossians 2:9 NKJV
“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; “ This is why it appears to be a delayed response to our prayers or breakthrough, for we are being conformed to this image of Christ so we can take care of our heavenly Father's business.
Remember as heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ, everything belongs to us. I Corinthians 3:21 NKJV says, “Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: “
But inheritance requires maturity. (Galatians 4:1) A loving father does not place the keys to a Lamborghini in the hands of a toddler—not because the car is not his, but because he is not yet ready to handle it. This is why Psalms 102:16 tells us that only when God builds up Zion, that His glory will be radiant.
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SURRENDER TO GOD SO HE CAN CONFORM US TO THE IMAGE OF CHRIST IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
