GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS REVEALED THROUGH OUR UNION WITH CHRIST

The Lord has announced His victory and has revealed His righteousness to every nation!

— Psalm 98:2 NLT

God's righteousness and victory operates independently of our performance. It is not earned by human effort but established through our union with Christ.

For example, it was right that we were united with Christ in His resurrection because we were first united with Him in His death. As Scripture declares, “For if we have been united with Him in a death like His, we shall certainly be united with Him in a resurrection like His” (Romans 6:5).

Likewise, it was right that we were raised up and seated together with Christ, far above every circumstance and limitation, because we are united with Him and are members of His body. Our position is not the result of personal achievement but of our identification with Christ.

Also, it is right that we share in His victory. We do not reign in life because of our performance, qualifications, or works, but because we are one with Him. The victory of Christ is our victory. His righteousness is our righteousness. His triumph has become our inheritance because we are united with Him.
