God presides over heaven's court; He pronounces judgment on the heavenly beings
— Psalm 82:1 NLT
Just as a judge in a court of law considers the evidence presented before him, yet does not allow the evidence alone to determine the verdict apart from the law, so God, from His heavenly court, acknowledges our earthly circumstances without permitting them to have the final say in our lives. His Word alone renders the final verdict.
As children of the Most High God on earth, it is our privilege and responsibility to enforce the judgments that God, the righteous Judge, has already written in the courts of heaven, regardless of our feelings or changing circumstances. Psalm 149:9 ESV says, "To execute on them the judgment written! This is honor for all His saints. Praise the Lord!"
Faith does not deny the existence of challenges, limitations, or adverse conditions. Rather, it recognizes them while submitting them to the higher authority of God's Word. Our circumstances may present evidence, but God's promises render the final judgment.
For His word is forever settled in heaven
( Psalm 119:89)
This is why James 4:7 ESV says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” WE submit first to the authority of God's Word, by aligning our heart with God's words, irrespective of the evidence from the enemy, be it symptoms, lacks, etc. Then proclaim, declare judgements written.
When God's verdict becomes our verdict, the enemy has no choice but to flee.
Beloved, never allow circumstances to overrule what God has already settled in heaven. The evidence may speak, but God's Word has the final say.
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO HOLD TIGHTLY TO GOD’S PROMISES IN OUR LIVES, ENFORCING THEM FOR THEY ARE ALREADY SETTLED IN HEAVEN, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
