GRACE PRESERVES US

But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Galatians 6:14 NKJV

God doesn't do anything in our lives without giving us a sign. In Genesis 18:17, He said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing" . In Christ, we are children of Abraham and heirs of this promise.

The first sign is that of the Bush engulfed in flames but never burnt (Exodus 3) This sign means that those troubles we might go through in life cannot consume us, instead they build in us a greater glory. For through grace, by the cross of our Lord Jesus, we are crucified to the world and the world to us. A dead person doesn't go through troubles.

The other sign is seen in Mary, the Blessed Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ Remember the Angel Gabriel called her " full of grace " . Though she was born of earthly parents and raised in a sinful world, yet she is full of grace. One cannot be in sin and at the same time be full of grace, you have to be dead to one and alive to another. This means she was preserved from the sin of Adam.

This is a great sign for us, for in Christ, we are highly graced, hence preserved from sin and distress, even though we are conceived in sin, and living in a sinful world, with stains of sin in our words. Deeds and thoughts, we are preserved from sin and it's distress, how? By His grace. WE have to stand strong on this grace. Through grace, we are preserved from corruption of this world till the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND STRONG IN THE GRACE TILL THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
