HAVE YOU DISCOVERED THE LOVE OF GOD BEYOND HUMAN SENSES ? V

Long ago the Lord said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself. - Jeremiah 31:3 NLT

God's love is extravagant and does not appeal to our senses. Though we were His enemies, He loved us and saved us. Now He commands us to love and pray for our enemies, yet we cannot do that. Instead of praying for their conversion, we can fast and pray for them to die.

Ponder this verse " Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”(John 13:35 NLT) Why? Because His love is extraordinary, if we practice it, the world will know it is not of the world. That was why the disciples were called Christians, that is Christlike.

So, let us not worry about who is against us and walk in love.We are children of obedience, we should focus on obeying God than worrying over our enemies, for the Lord said "if you obey my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you. (Exodus 23:22)

God said that he who touches us, touches the apple of His eye. (Zechariah 2:8 ) The eye is a sensitive part of our body. We protect the eye more than any part of our body. If God's eye is destroyed how can He watch the world He created. So for God to protect us as He would protect the pupil of His eyes, shows how dearly He loves us, His most precious possessions. No wonder David prayed "Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings, (Psalms 17:8 NKJV)
