HAVE YOU DISCOVERED THE LOVE OF GOD BEYOND HUMAN SENSES ? VI

Long ago the Lord said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself. - Jeremiah 31:3 NLT

In the Bible, whenever the time came for Elkanah to make an offering, he would give portions to Peninnah, his wife and to all her sons and daughters. But to Hannah he would give a double portion, for he loved Hannah, although the Lord had closed her womb. And her rival also provoked her severely, to make her miserable, because the Lord had closed her womb.

So it was, year by year, when she went up to the house of the Lord, that she provoked her; therefore she wept and did not eat. Then Elkanah her husband said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?”

(I Samuel 1:4‭-‬8 NKJV)

"And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?” What is that in your life that is grieving you? What is that lack, needs or worry that is taking us away from the love of God? Is having Jesus in our lives not better than those?

The Bible says "Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (Romans 8:32‭, ‬35 NLT)
