HE IS A HOLY FATHER

For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name.

Luke 1:49 NKJV

God is indeed holy and his holiness is not only that He punishes sin, but very evident in the upright, just, glorious way He relates with us. Holiness separates God from evil. Imagine that He formed us in our mother's womb despite the fact that we were sinners. David wrote "For I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me. But you desire honesty from the womb, teaching me wisdom even there.(Psalms 51:5‭-‬6)

Though He desires honesty right from the womb, yet He still made us while we were sinners. David also wrote "Yet you brought me safely from my mother’s womb and led me to trust you at my mother’s breast. I was thrust into your arms at my birth. You have been my God from the moment I was born.(Psalms 22:9‭-‬10)

Beloved, what in this life is too hard for God to do for us? Let us cease all worries and grow in our love for him. If He did not stop our birth, instead died for us while we were still sinning, then He is really a Holy God and has plans for us. Since He relates with us in a holy way, we have to reciprocate his holiness. Psalm 29:2 says "...Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness."
