HE IS IN CHARGE OF OUR WELFARE

I have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord; my welfare has no existence outside of You.”

Have you pondered what the word "Lord" means, and what it means that Jesus is your Lord. That means He owns us, He takes care and watches over us. Psalms 100:3 BSB says "Know that the Lord is God." Our welfare, that is our wellbeing and all the good things we have is from him. All our springs of joy are in Him. (Psalms 87:7)

That is why the bible says:

"Blessed are those who know the joyful sound, who walk, O Lord, in the light of Your presence. They rejoice in Your name all day long, and in Your righteousness they exult. For You are the glory of their strength, and by Your favor our horn is exalted."

(Psalms 89:15‭-‬17 BSB)

We rejoice because when we live in his name, it is Jesus living in us and acting on our stead. The Bible says "For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." (Galatians 3:27 BSB)

His righteousness is our righteousness, that means we have the same right standing before God as Jesus does.

His strength, ability, health, and sufficiency, becomes our strength, ability, health and sufficiency. The Bible says "For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose. (Philippians 2:13 BSB) Imagine the Spirit of God being our spirit of life. That means we cannot fail because God is righteous and his favor is for a lifetime.
