HE IS OUR SUN AND OUR SHIELD I

For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.

Psalms 84:11 NLT

The Lord is our Sun and Shield, How ?

The Lord said "And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. (John 3:14‭-‬15 NLT)

So, He became the sin that tormented us;

" For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

(II Corinthians 5:21 NKJV)

Now that sin is destroyed on the cross, He is our life ( Colossians 3:3) So, the very same person that destroyed sin on the cross, is now our life! Glory! We don't have to prove to Him that sin is destroyed and that we have eternal life, why? for He is our Sun and our Shield . That is why Psalms 121:6 NLT says "The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night."

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE COURAGEOUS FOR OUR LORD, THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE IS OUR SUN AND OUR SHIELD, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
