HE OWNS HIS FLOCK

The hired man runs away because he is only a hired man and does not care about the sheep.- John 10:13 GNT

We are really blessed that our Good Shepherd is our Owner and not a hired man. Why? "When the hired man, who is not a shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees a wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and runs away; so the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them. The hired man runs away because he is only a hired man and does not care about the sheep.(John 10:12‭-‬13 GNT)

He shepherds us as His own, how can we lack financially, in our families, health and wellbeing etc. No wonder He said "Acknowledge that the Lord is God. He made us, and we belong to him; we are his people, we are his flock.

Psalm 100:3 GNT

We are one with Him, His body, so He shepherds us as He shepherds the apple of His eyes. "None of us ever hate our own bodies. Instead, we feed them, and take care of them, just as Christ does the church; (Ephesians 5:29 GNT)

Think calmly about this: Jesus is not a hired man, He owns us, we are His flock He died for, His body, and His very siblings He sent to the earth, how can He run away from us when scarcity, diseases, untimely death and other distress comes at us?
