HE OWNS US, WE ARE HIS

OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

Mary said, “I am the Lord's servant! Let it happen as you have said.” And the angel left her - Luke 1:38‭ CEV

Psalms 100:3 NIV says, "Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture" In every circumstance, always acknowledge that we don't own ourselves, God owns us. No one else defines us except Him who owns us, His words define us. "I am the Lord's servant! Let it happen as you have said.”

He has made us, His own flock wonderful and beautiful to His own taste, so we fulfill all His requirements on earth. He is pleased with us. How? He planted us in Christ so we can only produce good fruits.

The Bible says "They are like trees planted in the house of the Lord, that flourish in the Temple of our God, that still bear fruit in old age and are always green and strong. This shows that the Lord is just, that there is no wrong in my protector." (Psalm 92:13‭-‬15 GNT)

OUR duty is to agree, believe in Jesus and His work of glory irrespective of what our earthly circumstances reflect. No worries about famine, drought, pests etc for God Himself planted us in Christ. We are just the branches and can do nothing on our own. No one can add or subtract from His work of glory. Instead, we say as Mary said in our opening text "I am the Lord's servant! Let it happen as you have said.” For He has the final say!

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS THAT GOD OWNS US, WE ARE HIS, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
