HE REMEMBERED US WHEN WE WERE NOTHING

He stooped down to lift me out of danger from the desolate pit I was in, out of the muddy mess I had fallen into. Now he’s lifted me up into a firm, secure place and steadied me while I walk along his ascending path - Psalms 40:2 TPT

I like how this verse is translated here. Two things we learn from this verse, first, "He stooped down to lift me out of danger from the desolate pit I was in, out of the muddy mess I had fallen into." This shows how bad our situation was before Jesus redeemed us.

That is why I don't know why we should worry or complain or even reject Jesus in our lives. Psalms 136:23 TPT says "He’s the God who chose us when we were nothing! His tender love for us continues on forever!" What do we even have to lose, we were nothing but dead to God before He redeemed us out of love.

If He remembered us when we were nothing and not under His care, how much more now that we are His special treasure, His glorious inheritance, and under His care? Besides, His tender love that redeemed us continues forever!

WE BLESS YOU GOD THE FATHER OF OUR BELOVED LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR YOUR LOVING DEVOTION FOR US, EVEN WHEN WE WERE NOTHING!

THANK YOU JESUS!
