Psalm 85:13 says that "Righteousness will go before Him, And shall make His footsteps our pathway"

Think about this: if Christ's righteousness which we received by grace, makes his footsteps our pathway, can we ever fail in life? Can we ever walk in darkness? in paths of sin and distress?
